How you ask? There is an application (app) called cell tracker that can pinpoint where you are if your smart phone is by you. The way to resist this from happening to you is to go into your smartphone's GPS and to switch all AUTOMATIC LOCATION buttons to off. Another way to block this is by using a temporary phone such as those bought in stores which need a card to activate on pre-sold minutes.

 

By the way, did you know that There is also an app where your significant other can listen in on your phone calls and see your texts without your prior knowledge? It's true. the app is actually meant for parents to check in and protect their under aged children but there is no authority to stop them from listening to any adult when they want.
